Welcome to Frederik Ebbinghaus!

Frederik J. Ebbinghaus has been employed as a research assistant at the Microeconomics Chair since December 1, 2025, and is a doctoral candidate in the Research Training Group “Regional Disparities and Economic Policy”.
He initially completed a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering with a specialization in mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University. With a master's degree in economics from the University of Cologne, he switched to economics. His research focuses on labor market economics, international economics, and dynamic macroeconomics, in particular modeling with heterogeneous agents.
