Welcome Prof. Dr. Buchheim
Dr. Lukas Buchheim joins the Department of Business and Economics as a Professor of Microeconomics on September 1, 2021.
Before joining TU Dortmund, Lukas has been PostDoc and Interim Professor at LMU Munich, where he also completed his doctoral studies. He has spent extended study and research stays at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, University College London, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Lukas is an affiliate of the CESifo Research Network.
In his research, Lukas studies topics in political economy, expectation formation, and regional economics. His works in these areas have been published in leading international journals like the Review of Economic Studies, the Journal of Monetary Economics, and Management Science.
